Violin Shop of Old Carmel remains committed to public health and safety while also providing services and products for our string instrument musicians. On that note, we are OPEN for business, within the guidelines our Governor Holcomb is asking us to follow via his Back-0n-Track Indiana plan.
Based on the roadmap for reopening the economy of Indiana, Violin Shop of Old Carmel is now OPEN by appointment only, and our weekly open hours are limited to Tuesday & Thursday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please visit our Make Appointment page to set up an appointment for “Curbside” or in-store services and to become acquainted with our current visitor requirements. If you would rather, you may also call us at (317) 818-2326 to book an appointment for services. If we are unavailable, just leave a message. You may also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will return your call or email at our earliest opportunity and work with you to schedule an appointment.
All in-person lessons are on hold for new and continuing students. Some teachers (Alexander Leyvand, Irina Povarova, Vladimir Zukerman, Alanna Mossell, Donna Clark, and Ginny Womack, to name a few) are offering lessons to continuing students via videochat. If you are an established student interested in resuming lessons via videochat, please contact your teacher by telephone.
We hope you all are staying well, and we look forward to serving you again. We will continue to update this page with any developments and contingencies based on Governor Holcomb’s plan to reopen the Hoosier economy. We are hoping to be able to resume our regular business practices and hours by the July 4th holiday, per Governor Holcomb’s 5th stage of his plan.
